Lavigueur Residence Project Page

These are the plans for the Lavigueur Residence in Quebec, Canada. Construction was started during the spring of 2012 and completed in the fall. We hope to have some pictures of the complete home soon.

This customer wanted a modernist design utilizing ICFs to build on wooded acreage. The design was developed from some initial sketches provided. the basic design is a large rectangle covered a low pitched shed roof. The main requirements were: an open living area on the south side of the home taking advantage of winter solar gain, office, sitting area, bath and laundry balancing out the main floor; 2 bedrooms, a master suite and lounge on the 2nd floor. There is also a 2 car garage, the roof top deck over the garage is accessed from the 2nd floor lounge area.  (note: not all drawings are shown below. Some drawing details have been eliminated.)
